Awareness Program on SIX SIGMA at SIMA Training Centre
NIQR Chennai Branch organised a training program at SIMA Training Centre, Irungattukottai on 26th February 2019.
This was the second training program organised by NIQR at the newly inaugurated training facility of SIPCOT Irungattukottai Manufactures Association. Incidentally, NIQR had signed an MOU with SIMA to conduct training programs to member companies of SIMA.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. G. Janarthanan, Past National President, NIQR who welcomed the participants and listed out the various training programs NIQR had planned to organise and introduced the faculty.
The faculty for the program was Dr. A. Sanjeeva Rao, Past National President, NIQR and the topic was Six Sigma Awareness. The program had good response with 14 participants from 6 companies.
The faculty, a veteran in the field of training, started with theory sessions with PP presentations followed by case study examples and group discussions. The participants found the program very interesting and enjoyed the visual illustrations, which made the content easily understandable; besides the discussions were truly inspiring. The feedback from the participants was excellent and many wanted NIQR to conduct such well-organized in house-training programs.
